Diary Entry: Tea with Miss Gardiner. Night with Gullands at C.H.S. Diary notes: Miss Gardiner was a colleague of KPD’s at Cumnor House School. The Gullands seem to have been the owners (certainly the Head and his wife) of Cumnor House School. As she did elsewhere, KPD remained friendly with previous employers.
