Diary Entry: Topping up T.A.B. & T.T. On duty Flora over for tea. Diary notes: T.A.B. was a ‘loaded march’ and T.T. was a ‘Technical Test’. ‘Flora’ is Flora Gardner, a friend from a family living near Berkhamsted, where KPD had lived years before.

Diary note: ‘In Which We Serve’ is one of the best known British WW2 films, written and directed by Noel Coward (and also David Lean), starring Coward, John Mills, Bernard Miles and Celia Johnson. KPD had also seen it the previous January. …
