Diary Entry: Duty driver. Took Rev. Knight to Braintree, Chelmsford, Epping Tea Thatched House Hotel Breakdown on way back. Got lost. Late back & to Chelmsford & back 12.15. Diary notes: The Thatched House Hotel was also a pub then (now just a hotel). A 17th Century coaching inn, it still serves travellers. See: http://www.thethatchedhouseepping.co.uk/
