Diary Entry: L[Lillian Richards] left 2.22. I biked Tun. Wells. Stay A[Aunt] Consie. Diary notes: Did KPD cycle (or ‘bike’ as she would have said) all the way from her mother’s home in Orpington to her Aunt’s house on Tunbridge Wells? If so it would be another 22 miles or so.

Diary Entry: L[Lillian Richards] & I trained to D. Green. Biked Ide Hill, Hever, Chiddingstone, Penshurst, Leigh, Tonbridge. Diary notes: Another long ride for Lilian and KPD – using the train (presumably at both ends of the cycle ride) they managed over 22 miles at least.
