Diary notes: Miss Noyes [aka ‘Moona’] was a friend of KPD’s (they went on some holidays together); She was, like KPD, a Nanny/Matron, and was also at Rossholme. Diary Entry: Spent day Orchard Cottage. Diary notes: In the 1930s and 1940s KPD’s diaries have many entries referring to both the Lewis family and Orchard Cottage. By the 1950s the entries mention the family, but not Orchard Cottage, so presumably they had moved by then.
