Diary Entry: Home early. Tea Pitts. Diary notes: Home was still Orpington, Kent, where KPD’s mother, Ellen ‘Nellie’ Dell lived. The Pitts, who were were friends and neighbours of the Dells in Orpington. Elaine Dell, wife of Martin Dell, was a Pitt.
