Diary Entry: A[Anthony] & P[Peggy] left.
Diary notes:
| Anthony and Peggy Dell are KPD’s closest (in age) brother and sister-in-law. Presumably they were going back to their home in Suffolk, or Peggy was going there and Anthony back to his military duties. As Anthony had volunteered (for the Territorials) before war was declared he had already been called up. He served in the Royal Artillery (Searchlights), and ended the war as an Acting Major. |
