Diary Date: 1st June [1941]

Diary Entry: Spent day M[Mother] & V[Veronica] & we went long walk, called at school.

Diary notes: KPD always enjoyed walking. Interesting to see that her Mother, then 66, managed to keep up with her quite young daughters. By calling at school, she was showing her family where she actually worked.
