Diary notes: Ewhurst is a village about 16 miles from Seale. The Davies’ seem to have been two sisters, Janet & another Davies (KPD mentions several other female friends/acquaintances whose surname was ‘Davies’) – friends of KPD, perhaps she met them through one of her jobs.
